I love building analog studio gear.  It is absolutely my passion in life.  Connecting bits of silicon, carbon, polystyrene, mu metal, copper, and even a little gold together in a specific way to create a tool that can be used to create beautiful articulate music is an incredibly rewarding experience.  Studio compressors, modular synthesizers, and guitar pedals are my favorite things to build (probably because they are my favorite instruments to play in the studio!).  I also modify and repair tube amps and vintage synthesizers.

    Hi,

i ran accross your ebay MFOS oscillator auction. i’m in process of making a number of MFOS kits. Am interested in getting some help building them. Am wondering if you have a phone number i can call so i can describe what i’m trying to do, see if it’s something you’d be interested in, etc.

    Many thanks,
    tom

Hello, does the MFOS VCO that you have on ebay right now (3/4/2011) have additional features than the VCO on MFOS website? I see more knobs and a switch on your version.

I’m about to take the plunge into modular synths and still getting a grasp on all the tech. terminologies.

    regards,
    Rafael

    • Plunge hard. There is an MOTM power adaptor and a couple ferrite beads to clean up the power supply. Attenuators for CV inputs. I think that’s it. Nothing major. Good luck.
